If you stay in Viera, you’ll be very close to the ceremony/reception site. Also, Viera is very convenient… it’s right off 95 (so easy access), it’s close to nice shopping, restaurants, golf courses, Brevard County Manatees baseball stadium, etc.

Beachfront
There are many good hotel options on the beach, we’re listing a few of the closest… staying here instead of in Viera means a little longer drive to/from the wedding reception site (about half an hour). It’s also farther from 95, the airport, shopping malls, etc. BUT, it’s the beach! There are plenty of restaurants and bars, a couple golf courses, and enough stores to satisfy a casual shopper (if you’re looking for outlets, you’ll have to hit Orlando or Vero Beach). Also, the beachfront hotels are very close to School House Rock (Matt & Rachael’s house), if anybody wants to stop by and say hello! :-)

On the river
There’s one beachside option that’s a bit farther from the reception site than staying in Viera, but it’s a little closer and a lot less expensive than staying on the ocean. It’s next to the river, with easy access to a couple marinas and a good spot for casual fishing. It’s close to a tennis club and a couple golf courses. Same as the oceanfront hotels, there are plenty of restaurants and bars, and enough stores and boutiques for the casual shopper. It’s also really close to School House Rock if anybody wants to come see Matt and Rachael at home. :-)
